Zulqarnain Faces Charges From Akmal Father


  


Zulqarnain Haider faces defamation charges from the father of Kamran and Umar Akmal after his return to Pakistan on Monday.

Zulqarnain is being fined RS 100 million for defamation after telling a press conference that Mr. Akmal was allegedly a bookermaker and match fixer, while in the same breath accusing his son Umar Akmal of unruly behaviour. With regard’s to Mr. Haider’s accusations, Akmal’s lawyer Badruzaman, was reported to have said:

"My client is a well reputed businessman and he will not tolerate such allegations. Haider now has to either produce evidence to back his allegations or make a public apology or face legal action."
Pakistan’s gloveman, Kamran Akmal is reported be to hurt and upset by the accusations, and says his father is an innocent man.
